Сюжет мультфильма День рождения Алисы следующий.Действие фильма начинается в Москве будущего. У Громозеки есть для Алисы необычный подарок на день рождения: он предлагает ей полететь в экспедицию на планету Колеида. На этой планете когда-то была жизнь, но сто лет назад все — и люди и животные — погибли. Экспедиция прилетает на Колеиду. Специалисты Института Времени настроили свою машину, и в прошлое Колеиды отправляется пилот-испытатель Степан. Вернувшись, он показывает археологам видеоматериал, передает газеты и рассказывает о своих впечатлениях. Он видел начало эпидемии. Археологи понимают, что Колеида погибла от Космической Чумы. Из газет они узнают, что перед началом эпидемии на Колеиду вернулась первая космическая экспедиция. Видимо, с ней на планету попали страшные вирусы. Ночью Алиса тайно пробирается к Машине Времени. Она решила сбежать в прошлое и осуществить план Громозеки. Уже около Машины она встречает профессора Ррр. Тот собирается лететь с ней, замаскировавшись под колеидского кота. Пережив серию приключений Алиса и Ррр добираются до столицы. Времени у них остается совсем мало.
